Postdoctoral Fellowship Position: Lynch Syndrome Center, Sweet Family Fellowship
The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute announces the availability of a postdoctoral research fellowship position in cancer prevention with a focus in early detection, risk assessment, and outcomes, as part of the Lynch Syndrome Center. The Lynch Syndrome Center is embedded within Dana-Farberâs Division of Cancer Genetics and Prevention and provides personalized, multidisciplinary care to individuals with a diagnosis of Lynch syndrome. Current research efforts are focused on enhancing personalized surveillance by developing early detection technologies, medical and surgical treatments, a longitudinal clinical data and biospecimen repository to track surveillance outcomes, implementing cancer risk assessment in diverse populations, improving patient-provider communication about cancer risk and genetic testing, clinical trials of novel diagnostics for early detection and screening, and vaccines for cancer prevention. The postdoctoral fellow will work directly with the Lynch Syndrome Center faculty leadership and collaborators to advance research goals in the identified areas.
